Chapter Thirteen

The sound of nails scratching at my door woke me up, and the feel of Cory’s body wrapped around me brought memories and pleasure flooding back to me.

Sex had never been as good as it was with him, and it was addictive. Cocoa’s nails scratched again, and I got up, untangling myself from his limbs and the comforter that was thrown over us. We’d fallen asleep exhausted after our mind-blowing bout of sex, so I’m sure Cocoa needed to go to the bathroom, and food.

I slipped into a pair of warmups and a hoodie, then quietly went into the living room, shutting the door behind me. Cocoa enthusiastically greeted me, like I’d been gone forever. I looked at the clock, and she wasn’t far off. I’d crashed for four hours. It was now eleven at night, and I needed to take her out. She normally went out around ten, so it was past time for me to take care of my baby.

“Come on girl.” I walked toward the front closet and pulled on my thick socks and snow boots, as well as my heavy coat. I would still freeze my tits off, but at least I wouldn’t be out too long.

I grabbed her leash and hooked it to her bright pink rhinestone collar. We went outside, and she whimpered at the cold.

“I know, baby. Go pee quickly and we can go back in where it’s warm.”

She didn’t need much more encouragement than that. She quickly found an acceptable spot and melted the snow before taking off back up the steps toward our apartment. I let her go, so she wouldn’t pull me down as I made my way up the slick stairs.

I looked up to see Cory standing by the front door. His arms crossed over his chest. His jeans on but unbuttoned, his boots on but untied, and his jacket on but unzipped so I could see his bare chest peeking out from beneath.

He looked sexy as hell. I paused on the last step just looking at him – oblivious to the cold as just the sight of him warmed me from the inside out.

“Come on, Kitten. Your ‘Sir’ wants to play.”

And just like that, with his simple command, my body responded, and I melted inside.

With a shaky, excited breath, I walked back toward the door, toward Cory.

“I have to feed Cocoa first,” I said when we walked into the house. I unzipped my coat, revealing my hoodie beneath it.

“Ok.”

I followed Cocoa into the kitchen, and I could feel Cory’s eyes on me as he followed behind me. The sexual tension was thick and heavy between us. Excitement reverberated through my chest and core.

I quickly put food in Cocoa’s bowl and made sure she had plenty of water. When I stood up from placing her bowl on the floor, two hands bracketed my hips. I felt Cory’s body at my back. His hard length was held tightly to my ass.

He trailed one hand up and into my hair, my eyes slid closed from the pleasure his stinging hold caused.
